This sake is brewed using all Wakayama prefecture Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 70%, has softness with a subtle aroma of fruit and woodsy spice, with deep flavor of grains with a tart, clean and dry finish.

About the brewery:
Sekai Itto - Wakayama, Japan
In 1884 , at the peak of the Meiji Era, Sekai Itto founder Yaemon Minakata purchased land and an old rice warehouse from the Kishu family and decided to start brewing sake. One of his sons, Kumagusu Minakata, traveled the world and was a renowned biologist and folklorist who lived in San Francisco towards the end of the 19th Century. Wakayama prefecture is famous for high quality Ume (Japanese plums) and other citrus fruits.
